Welcome to Nepal! Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to your hotel in Kathmandu. Attend a pre-trek briefing and explore the vibrant streets of Thamel.
🔹 Day 2: Kathmandu – Special Permit Processing & Trek Preparation
Today, we complete the special permit process for the Manaslu Restricted Area, which requires your original passport. Our team will handle all necessary paperwork, including the Manaslu Conservation Area Permit (MCAP) and Annapurna Conservation Area Permit (ACAP). While the permits are being processed, you can explore Kathmandu’s cultural sites or shop for last-minute trekking gear in Thamel.

The trail then gradually ascends towards Samagaun, the largest village in the Manaslu region. Upon arrival, we explore the village and witness the unique Tibetan-influenced culture, traditional stone houses, and yak pastures.
🔹 Day 9: Acclimatization Day in Samagaun – Hike to Pungyen Gompa or Manaslu Base Camp

To adjust to the high altitude, we take an acclimatization hike to either:
