Day 1: Kathmandu - Arrival Day

Welcome to Kathmandu, the lovely and historic capital of Nepal! Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, our team will be there to greet you and transfer you to your hotel. Later in the evening, we’ll have a trek briefing, covering all the details and last-minute specifics. Get an early night’s rest—you’ll need it for the big adventure ahead!
Day 2: Kathmandu - Trip Preparation
Altitude: 1,350m/4,428ft
This day is reserved for final trip preparations in Kathmandu. We’ll visit the necessary offices to organize permits and gear for the trek. You’ll also have time to explore the city’s historic landmarks and immerse yourself in its rich culture.
Day 3: Fly to Lukla and Trek to Phakding
Altitude: 2,800m/9,184ft (Lukla), 2,652m/8,700ft (Phakding)
Flight Time: 40 minutes, Trek Duration: 3-4 hours
Today, we fly to Lukla, the gateway to the Khumbu region, where we begin our trek. From Lukla, we head downhill to Phakding. The trail is relatively easy, offering a chance to soak in the beautiful scenery of the Everest Region.
Day 4: Phakding to Namche Bazaar
Altitude: 3,440m/11,283ft
Trek Duration: 5-6 hours
The trail from Phakding to Namche Bazaar ascends steadily, providing stunning views of the Himalayas. Namche is the main trading center in the Khumbu region and the perfect place to acclimatize. It’s also a great place to experience Sherpa culture.
Day 5: Namche Bazaar - Acclimatization Day
Altitude: 3,440m/11,283ft
Today is reserved for acclimatization. We’ll explore the area around Namche Bazaar, hike to the nearby Everest View Hotel for panoramic views of the mountains, and ensure our bodies are adapting to the higher altitudes.
Day 6: Namche Bazaar to Tengboche
Altitude: 3,870m/12,694ft
Trek Duration: 5-6 hours
The trek from Namche Bazaar to Tengboche takes you through beautiful forests of rhododendron and offers views of Mt. Everest, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam. Tengboche is home to a famous Buddhist monastery, which we’ll visit during our stay.
Day 7: Tengboche to Dingboche
Altitude: 4,400m/14,432ft
Trek Duration: 5-6 hours
The trail from Tengboche to Dingboche is scenic and challenging. As we ascend, we’ll pass through several Sherpa villages and get amazing views of the surrounding peaks. Dingboche is a good place for acclimatization and rest.
Day 8: Dingboche - Rest and Acclimatization Day
Altitude: 4,400m/14,432ft
This is another important rest day to help your body adjust to the altitude. You can take a short hike to nearby viewpoints or simply relax in Dingboche, enjoying the peaceful atmosphere and stunning views of the Himalayas.
Day 9: Dingboche to Lobuche
Altitude: 4,900m/16,072ft
Trek Duration: 5-6 hours
Today’s trek will take us from Dingboche to Lobuche, a high-altitude village surrounded by towering peaks. Along the way, you’ll witness breathtaking views of the surrounding glaciers and mountains.
Day 10: Lobuche to Gorak Shep, Visit Everest Base Camp
Altitude: 5,170m/16,961ft (Gorak Shep), 5,364m/17,594ft (Everest Base Camp)
Trek Duration: 6-7 hours
After a steep climb, we’ll reach Gorak Shep, where we’ll rest before continuing to Everest Base Camp. Upon arrival, you’ll stand at the foot of the mighty Everest and feel the energy of the mountain. The iconic Base Camp is one of the most inspiring places on Earth!
Day 11: Gorak Shep to Kala Patthar and Back to Lobuche
Altitude: 5,545m/18,192ft (Kala Patthar), 4,940m/16,207ft (Lobuche)
Trek Duration: 7-8 hours
We rise early to trek up to Kala Patthar, where you'll be rewarded with panoramic views of Mt. Everest and other peaks. After soaking in the views, we’ll trek back down to Lobuche for an overnight rest.
Day 12: Lobuche to Kongma La Pass to Chhukung
Altitude: 5,535m/18,159ft (Kongma La), 4,730m/15,518ft (Chhukung)
Trek Duration: 6-7 hours
Today’s trek is challenging as we cross the Kongma La Pass. From here, we’ll descend to Chhukung, a small village offering stunning views of the surrounding peaks, including the majestic Ama Dablam.
Day 13: Chhukung to Island Peak Base Camp
Altitude: 5,200m/17,060ft
Trek Duration: 3-4 hours
We start our climb towards Island Peak Base Camp today. As we ascend, the landscape becomes more rugged and dramatic, with impressive views of glaciers and snow-capped peaks.
Day 14: Island Peak Summit and Return to Chhukung
Altitude: 6,189m/20,305ft (Island Peak Summit), 4,730m/15,518ft (Chhukung)
Trek Duration: 10-12 hours
Today is the big day! After an early start, we will summit Island Peak, enjoying the exhilarating feeling of standing at 6,189 meters (20,305 feet) with breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. Afterward, we descend back to Chhukung for a well-deserved rest.
Day 15: Chhukung to Pangboche
Altitude: 3,985m/13,074ft
Trek Duration: 5-6 hours
The trek from Chhukung to Pangboche takes us back down through the Khumbu region, offering more spectacular views of the Himalayas. Pangboche is a peaceful village with a famous monastery.
Day 16: Pangboche to Namche Bazaar
Altitude: 3,440m/11,283ft
Trek Duration: 4-5 hours
We continue our descent to Namche Bazaar, enjoying the gradual drop in altitude and the surrounding natural beauty. Once in Namche, we’ll relax and reflect on the trek.
Day 17: Namche Bazaar to Lukla

The final leg of the trek takes us back to Lukla. Enjoy the final views of the Himalayas as we trek back through lush forests and charming villages.
Day 18: Fly to Kathmandu

We fly back to Kathmandu today, where you can relax and unwind after the trek. Once back in the city, take in the sights, shop for souvenirs, or rest at your hotel.
Day 19: Kathmandu - Departure Day
It’s your last day in Nepal! After breakfast, you’ll have some free time for last-minute shopping or sightseeing in Kathmandu. We’ll ensure you arrive at the airport on time for your flight home, bidding you farewell with warm memories and stunning photos of your Himalayan adventure.
